Torwen Eerkens finished 2nd in the girls 8 years 50m Breaststroke on Day 1 at the Brisbane Junior Championships. Torwen was just touched out for first in a time of 48.25. The 8 swimmers who represented Sherwood this weekend at the State Sprint Championships did a fantastic job! Nick Ringelstein swam a PB in the 11 years 50 Freestyle with a 34.85. The next Friday Club Night will be held at St Aidens School on Friday 11th February. As there are no lights and no canteen at the pool, the starting time will be 5pm with the first race at 5:30pm sharp. We will aim to finish at 6:30pm. There will be no 12.5m or 100m races.
