The 8 swimmers who represented Sherwood this weekend at the State Sprint Championships did a fantastic job!
Nick Ringelstein swam a PB in the 11 years 50 Freestyle with a 34.85. This was over 1 second faster than his freestyle time from the previous weekend!
Jack Thompson swam 2 personal best times on the Saturday afternoon. 33.16 for the Freestyle and 42.62 for his Breaststroke. Jack has learnt alot from both of these swims and looks to continue his good form into the coming weeks.
Jim Siganto swam another personal best time in his 50m Freestyle swimming 40.25. He will look to improve on this great swim this Friday!
Harrison Raymond was very impressive in his 50m Freestyle posting a big PB of 37.30.
Nick Siganto stepped up on his birthday to swim 2 great swims. He swam a solid 35.57 in the Freestyle and then backed up to record a PB in the 50m Backstroke, 41.52.
Natasha Donovan showed her class in the 50m Breaststroke by swimming the perfect race and recording a PB of 47.54.
Adam Thompson placed 6th in the 9 yrs 50m Breaststroke. Adam swam a great PB of 47.53 and now sets his sights on swimming faster in the coming weeks.
Yinte Eerkens had a great day starting with a fast 50m Freestyle in the morning and then taking home a silver medal in the girls 9yrs 50m Breaststroke. With her entire entourage cheering her on, Yinte swam a swift 46.63!
All swimmers will take alot of this weekend!
