Conditions have improved greatly since our earlier posting today, and the current plan is now to go ahead with all swimming classes this afternoon. If conditions deteriorate again we will of course review the situation. At this stage the radar looks clear so we hope there will be no change. Thanks for your understanding.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Brisbane area this afternoon, for damaging wind, heavy rainfall and large hailstones. At this stage we have seen lightning in the area and swimming is unlikely to go ahead. I will post a final confirmation at 1.30pm this afternoon. Regards, Yasmin

On Tuesday the 19th of November and Tuesday the 26th of November 2013 other schools are using our pool for their carnivals. As we run the canteen for these events, we would appreciate any offers of assistance on these two days. Please contact the swim club committee members if you are able to help.

A reminder to all that this Friday we will not have our usual Club Night or Skills Training session during the afternoon. We encourage you all to support our local community and head along to the Sherwood Street Festival instead!!! Squirts classes will still go ahead from 3.15 as usual.

Nemos and Hammerheads are cancelled tomorrow only. This to allow Nicki and Andrew to complete their university assessments this semester. The make up day is Friday 15 November. Come down to the pool and the sessions will run at the usual times: 3.15-4.00 for Hammmerheads; 4.00-4.45 for Nemos.Thank you for your understanding.
