A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for the Brisbane area this afternoon, for damaging wind, heavy rainfall and large hailstones.
At this stage we have seen lightning in the area and swimming is unlikely to go ahead.
I will post a final confirmation at 1.30pm this afternoon.
