Holiday Intensives
Our registrations for Holiday Intensive Classes have now closed however, if you would still like to enrol please email Jen on sherwoodsharksqld@gmail.com to see if there is availability. We do take swimmers who are not Sherwood School students. Thank you to those who registered and we hope you enjoy your classes over the holiday period.
Working Bee
With the start of the season only days away we will be holding our bi-annual Working Bee this Sunday morning from 9am. Please join us with as much or as little time as you can spare. We rely on our volunteers to help get the area in great shape ready for the season ahead. Duties include mowing, gardening, high pressure hosing and general cleaning. Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated!
Grading Day for Term 4 Swimming
Please keep in mind that all new Squad and Learn to Swim students will be asked to attend a Grading session so we can best place your child in the appropriate level of instruction. This will take place on Tuesday the 18th of September (Week 10) from 3.15pm to 4.30pm. Each swimmer need only spend 5 or 10 minutes in the pool so the coaches can ascertain their level. Registrations will open AFTER the grading day.
Dates to remember:
Sunday 16th September 9am-11am – Working Bee.
Tuesday 18th September 3.15pm – 4.30pm – Grading session in the pool for all new swimmers.
Monday 24th – Friday 28th September – Week 1 session of Holiday Intensives
Tuesday 2nd October – Friday 5th October – Week 2 session of Holiday Intensives
Monday 8th October – Season commences
Friday 12th October – First Club Night
