Welcome back to the start of a new season in the Shark Tank! We know that it has been a long wait but we thank you for your support and patience along the way.
Term 4 is underway and our swimmers are back in the pool. This week saw the start of our Squad training sessions. We welcome back our coaches Kelly and Ellie, and our new afternoon coach Stefano. There are still some places available for Squad training in both morning and afternoon sessions. If you are interested please email sherwoodsharksqld@gmail.com and we will see where we can fit you in!
This Friday night October 6th, is our first Club Night for the season. To welcome you back we have arranged a free sausage sizzle and a fabulous lucky door prize of two Gold Class movie tickets. To be eligible you must attend on the night and have paid your fees.
Please arrive by 5.30pm to register for your events. Registration will close at 5.45pm and we hope to begin promptly at 6pm. The Canteen will be operating with the sale of drinks, chips and ice blocks, in addition to our sausage sizzle.
All families who have registered should have received an emailed invoice for their Club and Squad fees. A reminder that these fees are due by October 6th.
All students must complete a registration and medical consent form before entering the water. These can be found on our webpage at sherwoodsharks.com. Simply print them out, fill them in and bring them to the pool before your session. These will be collected by the coach or a committee representative. These details are vital as they provide both contact and medical information if required.
On Monday afternoon many Club members were kind enough to donate their time to help prepare the pool and grounds for the season ahead. Special thanks to the Holmes, Woodbury, McDonald, Chapman, Freudenberg, Hughes, Moloney, Henningham, Toomey, Coley, Nygen and Preston families. Your help was greatly appreciated!
