Shark Tank Families,
The Sharks committee has reluctantly decided to cancel the Club Championship Meet on Sunday 22nd March and the Club Breakup Party on Friday 27th March.
Whilst we do technically fall under the current 500 gathering ruling, we feel with the uncertainty and quickly evolving COVID-19 virus that its in the best interest of our swimmers and our staff that we avoid large gatherings.
We are working with the registrars to still be able to award an abridge 2020 age champion award and will communicate this in the coming days.
Squad sessions and Learn to Swim will continue until further notice, but for the health and safety of our coaches and patrons we do ask that our members strictly adhere to the Governments suggested guidelines.
As extra assurance to our members we have implemented additional surface cleaning, anti bacterial hand-soap and sanitizers around the club for patrons to use. The chlorine levels of the pool are closely monitored several times a day and we are very vigilant in ensuring our levels meet the Queensland Health guidelines.
Please note with this ever evolving situation, Swim Squad and Learn to Swim Lessons may change or be cancelled as required.
Term 2 Swim Squad and Learn to Swim sessions will be available to book in the coming days. We do encourage you to book these lessons in advance to secure a spot but invoices will not be issued until sessions start and the uncertainty of the next few weeks are cleared.
