Sign on 2016
As this term draws closer to the end, we are planning ahead for 2016! Sign on for Term 1, 2016 will be held Tuesday afternoon the 8th of December at the Pool from 3.15pm. We will be experimenting with a few small changes to try and make the process a little smoother so please read the following carefully.
- There will be no more credit card payments. We encourage you all to pay by direct deposit where available, otherwise cash may be brought to the Sign-On Day or to the Office in a clearly marked envelope.
- It is VITAL that when paying by direct deposit, that you include your child’s name (as much detail as space allows) in the reference section of the direct deposit form. This will allow us to match the money to the child and avoid a great deal of future confusion.
- In addition if you choose to pay by direct deposit a very brief follow up email would be much appreciated treasurer@sherwoodsharks.com
- Current swimmers who wish to retain their spot for Term 1 may pick up a form at their lesson from next Monday 23rd November. You can then fill these out and return them to Pauline, therefore avoiding the need to come to our Sign-on day.This also applies to Squad swimmers. These forms must be returned before Tuesday 8th November as available places will be offered to new swimmers at Sign-On.
- All Learn to Swim, Squad and Club Swimmers must complete the forms for Medical and contact details. This is important to make sure all of our records are up to date should they be required for any reason.
- All new swimmers must attend Sign-On.
Thank you for your patience with these changes. We are trying to make the process as simple as possible!
As from next term we will also be offering Squirts lessons (beginning swimmers) a lesson time from 2.45 to 3.15pm on both Tuesday and Friday afternoons. These time slots would be ideal for Kindy children. The Friday 4.45pm class will be cancelled.

Intensive Lessons
Our Swim Coach Pauline is also interested in offering an intensive block of swimming lessons in the final week of the Xmas School Holidays from Monday January 18th to Friday January 22nd. These lessons would be available to our Squirts, Nemo’s and Hammerheads and would comprise of a 30 minute lesson each day over a 5 day period. If you are interested please speak to our coach Pauline or email her at swim@sherwoodsharks.com.au
Club night
Club night will resume this Friday night with a 6pm start. Please aim to be at the pool no later than 5.45pm to enable adequate time to register for your races.
Skills sessions
Skills session this week will focus on underwater techniques. Start time 4.45pm.
