We appreciate your patience and understanding with the current delays and interruptions with our swimming season. As you know, electrical issues have forced the closure of the pool to ensure the safety of our swimmers. Unfortunately, the Electrician has encountered additional time delays whilst undertaking the required repairs. Due to the uncertainty with the time frames involved, we have made the following decisions.
Learn to Swim will not be available for the remainder of Term 4. All swimmers will be offered a 50% credit toward Term 1, 2017 fees OR a 40% refund. These amounts will be based on the original fees paid at the start of the Term. Regardless of which option you choose to take you will need to fill in a refund/credit form which will be attached to our emails (sent to all swimming families on our database) or found on the Sharks website. Forms can be returned via email to payments@sherwoodsharks.com. If no form is received by Friday the 25th of November you will automatically be credited toward the next season.
Squad training will continue in a reduced capacity at Dunlop Pool, Monday to Thursday mornings from 7am to 8.15am. This squad training is available to all Mini, Intermediate, Senior and Adult swimmers. Our final squad training for the year will be held on Thursday the 1st of December. We realise this time/location does not suit everyone. As per Learn to Swim, swimmers will be offered a 50% credit toward Term 1, 2017 fees OR a 40% refund. Our Club Night and Skills Sessions will continue with the kind assistance of St Aidan’s who have agreed to let us use their pool for the remainder of term. This week’s skills sessions will focus on turns in the Individual Medley and will begin at 4.45pm. Racing will begin at 6pm with registration closing at 5.45pm.
We will be running a limited canteen offering a Sausage Sizzle, Steak burgers, Chicken Skewers and Coleslaw. Drinks, chips and iceblocks will also be available for purchase. Please be advised that the pool does not have a grandstand and if you wish to sit, you will need to BYO chair or picnic rug.
Normal Club Nights – 18th and 25th November.
Break up Club Night – 2nd of December with free sausage sizzle and free swim.
