The position of President of the Sherwood Sharks has become vacant, and we’re calling for nominations to take on the position immediately!
We have an exciting program of swimming planned for the 2018/19 swim year and beyond. With the recent heating of the pool we are now able to enjoy extended season, and look for new and exciting ways to build a love of swimming for people of all ages!
The role of President is to lead the Sherwood Sharks committee to deliver a fun and engaging swim program for our community. As well as representing the Sherwood Sharks, the role also maintains the strong connection between the Sherwood Sharks, Sherwood State School and the community and encourage participation in the Sherwood Sharks program. The President Chairs each Sherwood Sharks meeting and conducts them in an efficient and timely fashion, being familiar with the rules, constitution and other documents governing Sherwood Shark operations. The President is an official member of the school council for the School.
If you are looking for a way to ‘give back’ to the school, and put your good management and communication skills into practice as the Sherwood Sharks President, then please put your hand up!
