Club night will return tomorrow, the schedule will be as follows:
5:15 pm – Registration Opens
5:50pm – Registration Closes
6:00pm – Approx. race start
Race Order: Individual Medley, Breastroke, Backstroke, Butterfly, Freestyle.
Tomorrow’s skills clinic will be an extended session running from 3:30pm – 5:00pm to allow for a combination of both last weeks missed skill, race technique, and this weeks skill, relays. In the lead up to the Oxley Rd Cup both of these are extremely pertinent and all swimmers who would like to work on any non-stroke skill (tumble turns, streamline, pull-outs etc.) and relay changeovers is encouraged to attend.
This week the team selected for Oxley Road Cup will also be announced. By the end of tonight the majority of swimmers selected will have received emails regarding their selection. A information flyer will also be given to swimmers tomorrow night after the team has been announced.
Finally, yesterday the annual Metropolitan West Regional swimming carnival was held at the Sleeman State Aquatic centre. A huge congratulations to Mia Hughes, who represented the Walter Taylor District and placed 15th with a personal best time of 39.85secs.
