What a fantastic first Club night on Friday night!
THANK YOU to all of the wonderful families and individuals who volunteered and helped ensure the night ran smoothly. These included the Scott, Moss, Barnes, Arnold, Adams, Dunn, Hughes, Edgecombe, Kennedy, Parker, Smyth, Barton, Peapell, Bestwick, McFarlane and Raymond families, and our coaches Andrew and Ben. I am sure I have missed a couple of people in this list: please accept my apologies if that includes you. We could not run Club nights without you! We would love everyone to volunteer a couple of nights each term so that everyone gets a chance to watch their kids swim.
Our school principal, Dr Nelson, came along at the beginning of the night and started quite a few of our first set of races. It was great to show him the service and club community we provide.
All of the kids swimming looked like they had a great time and particularly enjoyed the free swim at the end of the night.
If you are interested in your children’s swimming times, these are now available through a mobile phone app: Meet Mobile. This if a free app that you can download to your phone. Once you’ve downloaded it, search for the Sherwood meet and you can see all the races, results and times. We hope to have all future race results uploaded via this app, at most within a couple of days of each club night.
