Club Championships (Report from Jordan Holmes and Sienna Toomey)
On Sunday the 13th of March the Sherwood Sharks hosted our annual Club Championships. This is when Sherwood Sharks swimmers compete against each other to see who is the best and fastest swimmer in their age group. We had 70 children who competed .
Everyone that swam did really well and showed great sportsmanship and attitude, no matter how well they did. These are our Age Champions:

To finish the day we held the annual ‘Shark Fin’ race. We got the fastest 6 girl and boy swimmers on the day. The fastest out of those 2 races swim off for the Shark Fin. This year it was Phoebe Sweeny and Tate Burton who competed in the final race. It was an amazing finish with Tate just winning.
On the behalf of all the Sherwood Shark kids we would like to thank all the volunteers who helped on the day. Without them, the Club Championships wouldn’t be possible.
