A huge thank you to the families that gave up their Sunday afternoon to come down to the Pool and help clean up during our Working Bee this past weekend. Gardeners, mowers, blowers, high pressure hoses and cleaning cloths were furiously working to get the pool into top shape for the coming season. Thanks to the Woodbury, Hughes, Preston, Peapell, Toomey, Adams, Eastment, Chapman, Freudenberg, Henningham and Leis families. Your help was greatly appreciated!
Thank you also to Scott Boothey and Bill Henningham who have invested their time and efforts into preparing and submitting grant applications on behalf of the Sharks.
It is however, with great disappointment that our Club Night and start of squad training will need to be postponed.
Further work and investigation into the pool have resumed, meaning that all activity in the water has been cancelled until further notice. Unfortunately, this matter is beyond our control, however the school administration have jumped quickly onto the issue and hope to resolve the problem as soon as possible. The safety of our children remains our most important consideration.
At this point we hope to postpone our start of season by one week, with Club Night resuming next Friday the 17th of February, and Squads the week after. We will keep you updated to the best of our ability.
