Sherwood Sharks

What a big night down at the Shark Tank last Friday night! Congratulations to all of our Club Captain nominees who prepared and delivered wonderful speeches to a crowd of well over 100 people. Around 80 club members (children) then voted and our new season positions were announced.

Congratulations to our new Captains…Sam Parker and Sian Smyth and new Vice Captains…Ronin Coley and Summer Lynes.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the outgoing captains who have performed admirably in their roles over the previous 12 months. Well done Mia Hughes, Jamie Preston, Kaitlyn Adams and Jordan Holmes.

Reminder…no Club Night on Friday the 11th of November due to the Sherwood Street Festival.

Have you ever considered participating in an Open Water Swim? Several of our members have participated in a series of swims offered on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. Swims are:

• Open Water
• Fully marshaled by water patrol and surf lifesavers
• Parents are able to swim with their children to help and provide encouragement.
• Lots of fun in a challenging and exciting environment.
